What Causes Belly Fats?

Fat is a nutrient that supplies the body enough energy. Fats come from a group of compounds and are soluble in organic and insoluble when mixed in water. Lipids also are considered a form of fats; while oil is also a form of fats.

Samples of fats include: butter, cream and fat seen in meat, fried foods, doughnuts, pizza, cookies, margarine etc. Inactivity can lead to high fat consumption because you were unable to burn fats you consumed from the food you take.

Causes of belly fat may be due to genetics, improper digestion, stress, menopause, low metabolism, lack of exercise and excess eating. Eat healthy by following the food pyramid guide to avoid some of the causes of fats.

Usually, consumption of fatty foods and lack of exercise are the main culprits of developing excess fatty deposits in the body.These could lead to health related diseases such as atherosclerosis, heart attack, stroke, cancer, obesity, hypertension and diabetes.
