How to Get Rid of Insomnia
Anaemia, indigestion and lack of blood circulation or depraved blood supply to all the body organs are the three main causative factors that trigger insomnia and all such situations can be easily rectified without much effort. Following measures will mitigate the wrongs done by the said three factors, if not totally eliminate them.
• Take light diet (consisting of 1-2 chappatis/loaves), curd, salads, pulses, seasonal vegetables, some clarified butter), at least 2 hours prior to retiring to bed.
• Take a glassful of milk-half an hour before finally retiring to bed.

If you are under treatment of a doctor, better seek his expert opinion and guidance -with regard to tapering of dose, dietary modifications and other regimen but do not use your discretion in this regard. Sleeplessness is caused by some compelling factor and, when the contributory cause has been eliminated, there may not be any need of taking medicines—even a slight modification in dietary regimen will suffice.
