Do you want to lose weight and get stronger, but don't stick with exercising or get bored with a gym workout? Whether you are young or old, you can find something you like.

Steps
1. Make short range goals. If you want to gain muscle or lose weight write it down. Put it somewhere where you will see it like the mirror, near you breakfast foods or on the back of your bedroom door if you sleep with the door shut.

2. Find a few activities or sports you like to do like walking, soccer, skateboarding or anything that is active even gardening will do. It does not matter how well you do it just that you will enjoy and do it every day. Make sure to pick more than one so you won't get bored.

3. Know what you need. A place to go is most important before you do anything else make sure you have an area to play.(a field, court or park) and know what gear you need, for example a a helmet, bat, ball, golf club or racket. Make sure to have a water bottle as you need to stay hydrated.

4. Find a place you can do your activity. For something like golf you may want to use an open field to practice driving.

5. Get the gear. Go to a sporting goods store and get the things you need to begin playing. Going to a second hand sports store is a good idea to save money.

6. Get out there and exercise!

7. Repeat daily. If you can't do it every day, don't punish yourself and give up. Just do it the next day.

8. When you reach your goal(s), reward yourself, but keep exercising to stay in shape. Keeping weight off and muscle on is harder than getting fit in the first place.

• Try new things, you never know how much fun you will have.

• Take care of your body, get a good nights rest and eat healthy.

• If you get bored of something find something new.

• If you do get hurt in a way that impedes your ability to exercise, rest. It is necessary to the healing process and you get a lot more out of your body if you rest and take care of it.

• Invite friends. It's always more fun if you have a workout buddy to talk with who can motivate you!

• Keep a positive attitude. As soon as it becomes a chore, you won't want to do it.

• If you have medical problems ask your doctor what is best and what you should not do to worsen your condition.

• If you feel dizzy, or tired take a break.

• In the summer heat do hydrate yourself with lots of liquid.
