iPhone ECG- for taking an ECG of your heart

iPhonECG – Alivecore is developing ECG gizmo for iPhone 4

We have seen smartphones turning into mini medical devices with like using your iphone as stethoscope; monitor ECG through Android phone and many more. Know about health expects that mHealth will provide user a wider range of medical application as analysts have predicted.

We are going to see kinds of gadgets at consumer electronic show (CES) 2011 next week, and even for taking an ECG of your heart. Alivecore will be showing a medical gadget, called iPhonECG. This gadget turns your Apple iPhone 4 into Electrocardiogram (ECG) by putting it into a special case.

iPhonECG takes ECG of your heart through iPhone 4 by either using your hand or putting the device on the chest. The cost of the iPhone ECG unit is expected to be ~ $100. The device is said to take accurate reading of heart that can be reviewed by medical professional to determine the heart issues if there is a serious heart issue that needs to be addressed in the hospital.
