A person who has a type O blood is encouraged to eat high protein foods most especially the deep ocean fish and sea vegetables such as kelp. For poultry foods such as chicken and turkey, these must be organically raised. Lean red meat especially liver and wild game must also be organically raised as well. A person must also eat large amounts of organically raised vegetables such as broccoli, kale and spinach and their juices.
Beneficial food for Type O positive:
The profile of an O blood type person (know as The Hunter) is a meat eater with a hardy digestive tract who has an overactive immune system, is intolerant to dietary and environmental adaptations, responds best to stress with intense physical exercise, and requires an efficient metabolism to stay lean and energetic.

Type O's should avoid the most common lectins found in wheat and other grains because they can bind to the lining of the small intestine and turn to fat, causing substantial inflammation and painful irritation in O blood types. Usually, lectins can be beneficial for other blood types but not Os.
Type O weight gain, the primary culprit is wheat products. Glutens found in wheat germ interfere with O metabolic processes. Meaning, all breads, bagels, English muffins, oat bran muffins, wheat bran muffins, sprouted wheat bread and whole wheat bread are all avoids for Type Os.
There are other factors can also contribute to O positive blood type weight gain, such as corn (to a lesser degree) and thyroid regulation (Os have low levels of thyroid hormone, which can generate hypothyroidism resulting in weight gain, fluid retention, muscle loss and fatigue).
