How to stop hiccups quickly
"Hic!" You've just hiccuped for what seems like the tenth time since you finished your big dinner. Wonder where these funny noises are coming from? The part to blame is your diaphragm (say: die-uh-fram). This is a dome-shaped muscle at the bottom of your chest, and all hiccups start here.
Here are some tips to stop hiccups instantly:
1. Hold your breath as long as you can.
2. Very slowly sip one more glasses of water
3. Gargle with plain water for at least a minute.
4. Pull out your tongue.
5. Swallow spoon of sugar.
6. Swallow half of seeds of mustard seeds mixed with half a teaspoon of pure ghee.
7. Boil a teaspoon of cardamom powder in a half a liter of water till only one cup
remains. Cool and drink when warm.
8. Suck small piece of ginger.
